Job summary

Dnata in Lubbock, TX is seeking a warehouse associate to organize storage, load and unload air cargo, and ensure compliance with SOPs and safety standards.

You will handle rolling equipment, palletize cargo, prepare paperwork, and perform physical labor including lifting up to 70 lbs. Flexible shifts and weather-influenced work are required for this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work flexible working hours.
• Ability to work in inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Organize warehouse and storage facilities; arrange handling equipment and load/unload air cargo.
• Load, unload and deliver truck and aircraft containers.
• Pull rolling equipment across the warehouse floor; move empty and loaded equipment.
• Load/unload mail from rolling equipment and floor-level containers; stand, bend, and use a ladder when needed.
• Perform physical labor including repetitive lifting up to 70 lbs for several hours.
• Prepare and palletize cargo; ensure paperwork is correct.
• Ensure proper handling and delivery of cargo and operation of related equipment.
• Follow Dangerous Goods requirements and SOPs; comply with policies.
• Meet attendance requirements.

Job description

Organize warehouse and storage facilities; arrange warehouse handling equipment and load/unload air cargo. Maintain the required safety and quality standards as well as complying with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and company policies.

You will

• Responsibilities include loading, unloading and delivery of truck and aircraft containers.
• Pull rolling equipment across the warehouse floor. Requires pulling empty and loaded equipment.
• Load/unload mail from rolling equipment.
• Load/unload mail from floor-level containers. Requires standing, some bending and occasionally step ladder use.
• Must have strong work ethic and be able to perform physical labour over several hours, including the repetitive lifting of items up to 70 lbs.
• Prepare and palletize cargo as needed.
• Make sure paperwork related to the cargo is correct.
• Ensuring proper handling and delivery of cargo and operation of related equipment.
• Follow Dangerous Goods Requirements and Regulations
• Comply with dnata Logistics Standard Operating Procedures and Policies
• All other duties as assigned.
• Meet attendance requirements.

hours of operations: AM Shift 4:00am-8:00am Weekday no operation on Monday a.m. Saturday/Sunday 5:00am-8:00am

PM shift time: 5:00pm-9:00pm
