Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Field Service Technician for critical power systems. The role involves daily on-site work, maintenance of UPS systems and batteries, and travel to government, institutional, and commercial facilities.

You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate with subcontractors as needed. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of UPS experience, strong electrical knowledge, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with on-call

Qualifications

• AA/BS degree in Electrical and/or Electronics required.
• At least 1 year experience with UPS systems and electrical apparatuses (switchgears, panels, breakers, ATSs, generators).

Responsibilities

• Inspect and service UPS systems and battery backup equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and on-site repairs.
• Read and interpret system drawings and specifications.
• Maintain safety and quality standards on job sites.
• Provide technical support and training to sites as needed.
