Job summary

Buckingham Browne & Nichols seeks two Upper School Strength & Conditioning Coaches for morning and afternoon/evening sessions. Reports to the Director of Athletics and collaborates with the Associate Director of Athletics.

Coaches follow the athletic philosophy and ISL/NEPSAC guidelines and must commit to an inclusive, supportive learning environment. Responsibilities include designing conditioning programs, tracking progress, and ensuring safety in the conditioning rooms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• CSCS certification preferred but not required.
• Commitment to an inclusive community and effective communication with students.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a strength training program for upper school students.
• Track attendance and athlete progression with another coach.
• Uphold NSCA standards and guidelines for the program.
• Communicate schedule and program details to students.
• Supervise students in conditioning rooms and manage emergencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
