Job summary

Crystal Springs Uplands School in Hillsborough, CA, seeks a temporary Upper School Spanish Teacher (1.0 FTE) to cover November 30, 2026 through March 19, 2027. Position is seasonal, based in the San Francisco Bay Area, teaching levels from Spanish II to Honors IV, with a focus on developing language skills and cultural understanding.

The successful candidate will be fluent in English and Spanish, with at least three years of teaching experience and comfort with technology.

Qualifications

• At least three years of Spanish teaching experience in a school setting.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
• Fluency in English and Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Teach Spanish to a range of learners from Spanish II to Spanish IV and Honors IV.
• Provide feedback in both English and Spanish, orally and in writing.
• Chaperone duties may be required; participate in professional development and faculty meetings.
• Incorporate technology and foster equity and inclusion in instruction.
