Job summary

Crystal Springs Uplands School in Hillsborough/Belmont, CA, seeks a temporary Upper School Spanish Teacher for Nov 30, 2026 to Mar 19, 2027. Teach Spanish II–IV and Honors IV to a diverse group of learners, with feedback in English and Spanish.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of experience, fluency in both languages, and comfort using technology to support learning. This 1.0 FTE, exempt leave replacement emphasizes equity, inclusion, and collaborative curriculum development.

Qualifications

• At least three years of Spanish teaching experience in a school setting OR other relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in education or related field.
• Preferred: At least 5 years of teaching experience in a high school.
• Valid California teaching certificate.
• Experience as an advisor, coach, or club sponsor.

• Collaborate with the World Language Department Chair to participate in growth plans and instructional support strategies.
• Support students with formal educational plans and additional support needs.
