Villa Duchesne is seeking a full-time Upper School Science Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Teachers will instruct four classes (average of 15 students per class) with a fifth section dedicated to science lab time.
The Science Department curriculum emphasizes skills such as using representations and models to communicate scientific phenomena, engaging in scientific questioning and labs to extend thinking, and analyzing data and evaluating evidence. Candidates with a master’s degree in a STEM field, AP experience, and 3-5 years of teaching experience are preferred. Preference will be given to those able to teach Physics, AP Physics, and/or physical sciences.
