Responsibilities

• Provide instruction on a wide range of RECS courses and co-curricular activities to Upper School students, with knowledge of AP, IB, and Advanced Topics considered a plus.
• Utilize cognitive science and educational research to inform teaching practices.
• Participate in reflective, self-directed, ongoing professional development.
• Create and define goals and objectives for unit and daily lesson plans; organize teaching materials; evaluate student performance; maintain classroom records; manage time effectively.
• Submit grade reports and student comments at specified intervals.
• Hold conferences with students, parents, administrators, and other professionals.
• Participate in curriculum reviews and collaborate on RECS Department initiatives, including afterschool programming and competitions.
• Participate in faculty meetings, liturgies, chapels, retreats, school assemblies, and special events.
