Do you see Latin roots everywhere you look? Do you enjoy working with 6th – 12th grade students to develop their understanding of the grammar of the Latin language as well as the beauty of translation? Language is such an important part of a classical, Christian school and we are looking for an additional Latin teacher for our expanding languages program.

Naperville Christian Academy (NCA) has been educating students grades Preschool – 12th for over 25 years in the western suburbs of Chicago. The upper school Latin teacher is responsible for:

• Teaching Latin classes from 6th grade – 10th grade in our standard track.
• Training our students to enjoy the fruits of their labor in learning Latin
• Collaborating with other faculty members in developing integration throughout the upper school
• Mentoring students in character development
• Continuing to grow professionally
• Assisting with preparation and customization of the Universal Latin Exam (ULE)
• Working alongside the honors Latin teacher and Bible/Greek teacher to further improve our languages program
