Qualifications

• MA in Special Education or Education required.
• Licensure as an SLP is a plus.
• 3–5 years teaching students with learning disabilities.
• Strong communication with parents, children, and colleagues.
• Commitment to equity and justice.

Responsabilités

• Adapt and deliver curricula across core subject areas (English, Math, Science, Social Studies) to meet diverse learning needs.
• Implement targeted instructional strategies and scaffolding.
• Create multi-sensory entry points to lessons for active engagement.
• Establish an inclusive, positive learning environment for academic and social-emotional growth.
• Support self-advocacy, executive functioning, and independent learning.
• Collaborate with speech-language pathologists and counseling team members.
• Coordinate with division directors/academic dean to address student needs.
• Write, edit, and submit trimester reports, grades, and evaluations.
• Advocate for homeroom students and support relationships with teachers.
• Supervise homeroom activities and school events.
• Participate in professional development and school-wide meetings.
