Job summary

Westminster Christian Academy seeks an Upper School Business Teacher for the 2027-28 school year in St. Louis County, MO. The role uses a project-based curriculum to develop students’ problem solving and innovation skills in general business, accounting and economics.

The teacher will collaborate with a small team to develop innovative teaching approaches; the load includes three unique preps, and a clear testimony of faith and commitment to integrating Christianity is required.

Qualifications

• Clear testimony of a personal saving relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Membership or faithful attendance at an approved Protestant church congregation.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Education or Business.
• Ability to collaborate well with colleagues.
• Ability to work well independently.
• Passion to integrate the curriculum with Christianity.
• Strong professional or collegiate references.
• Experience in secondary school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• As part of the Business & Communications team, the Upper School Business Teacher will use a project-based curriculum to develop students’ problem solving and innovation skills in the fields of general business, accounting and economics.
• The Business Teacher will work with a small team to develop innovative approaches for teaching the content area.
• The course load will include three unique preps.
