The Walker School, a premier independent school in metro Atlanta, is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and dynamic Upper School Science Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year . What You’ll Do:
Bring the wonders of science to life for Upper School students through engaging and innovative instruction.
Teach five sections of science with up to three different course preparations, inspiring 70-100 students .
Create a collaborative and curiosity-driven classroom where students think critically and explore the world through observation, analysis, and discussion.
Serve as a trusted advisor to 10-15 students, mentoring them through their high school journey.
Go beyond the classroom—whether coaching a sports team , sponsoring a student organization , or guiding students through extra-curricular experiences .
Be part of a vibrant school community , taking part in school events, Open Houses, and supervisory duties.
Embrace technology and innovation in teaching to enhance student engagement and skill development.
