Sylvan Learning is seeking an upper-level math instructor for a part-time role in Highland, CA. You will be trained on the Sylvan curriculum and teach in a small group (3:1) setting, delivering personalized instruction in Math and SAT/ACT prep.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Experience teaching or tutoring calculus, algebra 1 & 2, geometry and trigonometry
• 2 years teaching or tutoring experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to multitask

• Teach using Sylvan-based programs
• Supervise and motivate students during instruction hour
• Document student progress and communicate needs to center director
