Upper Elementary Teacher - Montessori School of Lake Forest

Montessori Trained Upper Elementary Teacher

Montessori School of Lake Forest is an authentic Montessori school seeking a Montessori trained Upper Elementary Teacher to co-lead a classroom of children ages 9-12 years starting in August 2025. The ideal candidate is AMI or AMS certified and will lead an Upper Elementary classroom, partnering with an experienced co-teacher. Using the Montessori Method, the teacher will work with each child to meet their developmental needs. The ideal candidate will also be reliable and possess a patient, positive, and respectful manner toward children in their care.

• Passion for the Montessori pedagogy and working with elementary-aged children

Qualifications include:

• AMS or AMI certified at the Elementary level (6-12) or currently in a training program

• Ability to collaborate, multi-task, and learn through observation and modeling
