Portland Public Schools seeks an innovative and passionate educator to join our team as a Upper Elementary Teacher at Westwood Elementary. Our district is collaborative and committed to supporting staff growth, instructional innovation, and positive outcomes for every student.

The desired candidate would possess the following attributes:

  • Exceptional communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Understanding of, or demonstrated training in, PBIS and MTSS frameworks
  • Ability to handle complex or stressful situations with sound judgment, professionalism, and composure
  • High character, a positive sense of humor, and compassion for students, families, and staff
  • Ability to effectively integrate technology into teaching and learning practices
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
  • Willingness to contribute to extracurricular programs and the broader school community

Eligible candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
