Job summary

National Heritage Academies (NHA) seeks a Dean to lead instructional quality across Milwaukee Scholars Charter School and partner with teachers to raise student achievement. The Dean will model and grow the Classroom Framework of Instructional Practice, foster a safe, engaging culture, and supervise evaluations while building strong relationships with staff and families.

The successful candidate will have a BA in Education or related field, state administrator licensure if required, and 3–5

Qualifications

• BA in Education or related field.
• State administrator licensure as required by state.
• 3–5 years of teaching experience with leadership roles (e.g., instructional coach, assistant principal).
• Experience with at-risk students is strongly preferred.
• High level of written and verbal communication.
• Self-motivated with ability to manage complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, support, and maintain a safe, engaging culture focused on student learning.
• Model and implement the Classroom Framework of Instructional Practice.
• Build relationships with teachers and invest in staff success.
• Coach teachers towards instructional mastery with differentiated support.
• Oversee teacher development, observations, and goal setting.
• Analyze data to drive instruction and student growth.
• Lead school procedures and parent relationships.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and annual evaluations.
• Lead wing PLC meetings using data and standards.
