Job description

Our rapidly growing Additive Manufacturing Sector is looking to add a Machine Operator to their 1st shift team. Through advanced technology and global reach, our company prides itself on delivering excellence and growing opportunities for our Associates.

Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 5am - 3:30pm

Location: Hamilton, OH, On-site

As a Machine Operator, you will:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on customer manufacturing specifications to create machine programming
  • Set up, troubleshoot, and operate machinery such as Blanchard Grinders according to strict tolerances.
  • Examine and measure completed units, identifying defects and ensuring adherence to specifications; adjust machine controls to resolve production errors
  • Exercise strong problem-solving ability for the inspection and repair of machinery
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience for Success:

  • 2+ years of experience using and/or programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools, and machines
  • Ability to proficiently set up and use measuring equipment including CMM, CAD-CAM, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Calipers, Profilometers, etc.
  • Expert in reading and interpreting blueprints and design sketches
  • Ability to create and maintain updated work processes related to machining
  • Familiar with warehouse, manufacturing, or production planning environments
