BrightPath Kids is seeking a UPK Teacher in Syracuse, NY to implement state and district UPK curricula and prepare children for kindergarten. You will supervise 3-4 year-olds in one classroom and build engaging, developmentally appropriate activities aligned with guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field required.
• New York State Birth-2 certification or Nursery Teacher certification required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Implement NYS and district UPK curriculum to prepare children for kindergarten.
• Ensure safety and supervision of children ages 3-4 in one classroom.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum according to district and state guidelines.
• Curate programs and activities based on children's interests and learning styles.
• Maintain a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
• Partner with families to create plans to provide the best care and education for their children.
