American Leather Operations LLC in Conover, NC is seeking an Upholstery Lead to supervise the inside and trim upholstery team, ensuring production flow, quality, and efficiency. You will collaborate with the Upholstery Manager to address performance issues and optimize processes.

This full-time, on-site role requires 2+ years upholstery knowledge, LEAN awareness, and strong communication to guide staff, manage attendance, and uphold safety and equipment standards.

Competenze

• Upholstery knowledge (inside and outside) with 2+ years preferred.
• LEAN manufacturing knowledge a plus.
• Experience in lead/supervisory roles preferred.
• Strong communication, notes-taking and email/phone communication skills.

Mansioni

• Direct Upholstery (inside/trim) associates.
• Answer questions from Upholstery (inside/trim) associates on quality, efficiency, procedure, training, and production/workflow.
• Lead and instruct the Upholstery team so tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Manage Upholstery department attendance and fill in when necessary to support production flow.
• Maintain safety, quality and machinery standards at all times.
• All other duties as assigned.
