Job summary

Gabriella White, designer and manufacturer of luxury furniture, is seeking a Material Handler for our upholstery plant in Claremont, NC. You will move, store, and stage furniture components and finished products, ensuring materials reach the correct workstations and are accurately recorded in inventory.

The role supports production teams, maintains safety standards, and helps minimize downtime by proactively supplying materials and organizing the warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years furniture experience preferred.
• Ability to read production tickets and work orders.
• multitask with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong active-listening and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and unload incoming materials and supplies.
• Transport materials between storage, production lines and shipping docks.
• Prepare materials for production per work orders.
• Operate material-handling equipment safely (forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Maintain accurate inventory and label items properly.
• Support production by ensuring a continuous supply of materials.
