Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc in Booneville, MS is seeking a Frame Builder (Weekday) to join our upholstery frame team. You will obtain pre-constructed frame parts, assemble them to spec, and ensure frames are square, level, and flush to the outside edge while following Sutter Street’s procedures.

This onsite role requires at least 1 year of frame-building experience, strong attention to detail, good hand–eye coordination, and the ability to read production tickets.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of frame building experience in the production of upper-end upholstered furniture.
• This is an onsite and in office role.
• The associate needs to be able to pay attention to detail, can work with their hands, and have experience in reading and understanding production tickets.
• Ability to interpret simple instructions commonly placed in a production manual and the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.
• Must have good communication skills both oral and written as well as the ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Demonstrate the ability to keep accurate records and follow documented procedures and standards.
• Excellent time-management skills including ability to work independently with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Practice safe work practices and demonstrate safe work habits.
• Obtain pre-constructed frame parts by pushing, pulling, and lifting onto workstation.
• Assemble frame parts assuring they are square and level, with correct parts oriented to the correct direction and all parts flush to the outside of the frame using a hammer and nails, staples, and appropriate glue per Sutter Street’s frame SOPs.
• Assure all parts are ground level to result in flush outside edge and no staples on the outside of the frame.
• Assemble frames that meet the quality requirements and productivity target of 6–8 pieces per hour.
