Job summary

Ethan Allen Interiors Inc. is seeking an upholstery trim associate to support frame preparation and finishing in our manufacturing environment.

The role involves moving frames, upholstering with pneumatic tools, trimming excess materials, and ensuring a high-quality fit and finish on fabric and leather. The position requires careful attention to detail, ability to work with various fabrics, and adherence to safety and efficiency standards in a factory setting.

Responsibilities

• Move assembled frames using transfer cart to upholstery lift
• Stabilize and upholster frames with pneumatic staple gun and fabric/leather
• Trim excess filler and fabric for a smooth finish
• Fit fabric/leather with pull-and-stretch for proper alignment
• Smooth seams using regulator and tuck for crisp appearance
• For tufted frames, insert and secure buttons and twine
• Trim edges with box cutter and secure plygrip and tuck fabric
• Push tack band through fabric and secure to frame
• Assist with occasional non-routine assignments as directed
• May operate other shop equipment as needed
• Minimal lifting required when frames are moved along conveyors
