Position Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Be responsible to make or repair upholstery for Living Spaces designed furniture.
• Fit, install, and secure material on frames, using hand tools, power tools, glue, cement, and/or staples.
• Build furniture up with loose fiber stuffing, cotton, felt, and/or foam padding to form smooth rounded surfaces.
• Make, restore, and/or create custom upholstered furniture, using hand tools and knowledge of sketches and design specifications.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to carry out each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• Up to 3 year(s) experience using hand and power tools.
• Qualifications: Previous furniture or car upholstery experience is preferred, but not required.

The employee is frequently required to stand; climb or balance and stop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit.

Position Hiring Range

The hiring pay range provides a guide for what we would reasonably pay for the position. Pay will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to: applicant’s education, relevant work experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. P ay is determined by various factors including market demand, applicable skills, work experience and education, location, company budget, and in-demand skill sets.

Compensation: $17.00 - $22.70

Retail, Guest Services, and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI’s.
