What You Will Do
This is a remote position but will require regular travel within the territory, so you must live near Mobile, AL.
- Represent one of the leading brands in the HVAC distribution channel for York Factory Direct, promoting the JCI portfolio in the assigned market. Become a member of a highly motivated, inclusive team fostering a positive culture.
- Sell Residential and Commercial HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies to contractors.
- Develop partnerships with existing customers to increase share of wallet, and recruit new customers to increase market share. Support the design, assembly, and manufacturing of HVAC products in the USA.
- Receive leadership coaching and onboarding to succeed in sales, with mentorship and resources provided to help you meet your personal and professional goals.
How You Will Do It
- Build relationships with existing customers and expand growth annually.
- Discuss products and programs offered by York Factory Direct to increase sales share.
- Coach customers on utilizing program features to grow their business; the more they sell, the more we sell.
- Prospect and recruit new customers fitting the York partnership profile.
- Create marketing strategies to help customers grow.
- Support customers in selecting the best York products for their needs, coaching on product specifications, performance, and application regulations.
- Negotiate prices and terms of sale.
- Ensure customer participation in industry-leading training classes.
- Collaborate with local service managers to improve field quality and consumer confidence.
- Set and achieve sales goals, including calls, product segmentation, dealer registration, and training metrics.
What We Look For
- HVAC industry experience and B2B relationship selling in contractors
- Minimum 3+ years of outside sales experience
- Willingness to travel within the market
- Self-motivated, goal-driven individuals with high energy
- Desire to become #1 in the region and company-wide
- Strong understanding of sales processes, customer service principles, and business acumen
- Ability to identify customer needs proactively and exceed expectations
