Reading Truck is hiring an Assembler/Installer responsible for assembling and installing customer-specified products in commercial vehicles. You will perform sub-assembly, install components, and follow wiring diagrams on a busy assembly line.

The role includes inspecting parts, pre-assembly for shipping, and cleaning up after vehicle completion. Qualifications include at least 18 years old with a preferred HS Diploma or equivalent and a background in manufacturing, assembly, or construction.

• HS Diploma/Equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Pre-assembly and installation of electrical components and alarms as required.

The Nuts and Bolts

• Sub-assembly or pre-assembly of steel cabinets, partitions, ladder racks and other related items on or adjacent to the assembly line
• Installation of sub-assembled or purchased items
• Pre-assembly and installation of electrical components and alarms as required
• Pre-assembly of items to be stowed for shipping
• Inspection of parts and assemblies as required
• Clean up of completed vehicles
• Follow wiring diagrams, schematics, etc. for electrical installations

Required Credentials

Education:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• HS Diploma/Equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• Background in manufacturing, assembly, production, or construction preferred
