Up to $55/hr.- ER RN – Float Pool – Burleson, Texas

We hear you! We are pleased to announce exciting changes to our Resource Pool team, offering options that allow YOU to choose the best schedule to fit your life.

Staffing Options: Depending on your chosen Tier, you may need to float beyond ER to PCU, ICU, MS, and ED Holds as needed.

We are excited to improve our Southwest Region Resource Pool teams, providing flexible scheduling options to better suit your needs.

Select the level that best fits your schedule/availability. An 18-week (3 scheduling periods) commitment is required.

  • Commit to 36 hours per 6-week schedule (hours are not guaranteed)
  • Works at Huguley and willing to float to Texas Health Mansfield, with minimum competency to work 1 area/unit
  • Commit to 48 hours per pay period (hours are not guaranteed)
  • Works at Huguley and willing to float to Texas Health Mansfield, with minimum competency to work 2 areas/units
  • May request 1-week unpaid vacation during the commitment period (no time off during holiday weeks; 4 weeks' notice required)
  • Commit to 72 hours per pay period (hours are not guaranteed)
  • Works at Huguley and willing to float to Texas Health Mansfield, with minimum competency to work 2 areas/units

Missed Shifts: If you miss a commitment shift, you must make it up within 6 weeks.

Tier Shift Requirements: Failure to meet shift requirements may result in a lower tier or termination, in accordance with HR policies.

Incentive Pay: Not eligible for shift incentives until CSO requirements are met.

Shifts include Saturday Day, Sunday Day, Saturday Night, and Sunday Night. Holiday and event shifts will be discussed during the interview.

Shifts: ER RN 7p-3a or 11p-7a

The Role: The RN provides continuous nursing care, assessing and prioritizing patient needs in the ER, following hospital policies and philosophy.

  • Informing staff of urgent cases and patient flow
  • Performing ongoing assessments and recognizing emergencies
