Job summary

Herman N Logistics is seeking an OTR CDL-A solo driver to operate from the Gary, IN hub with weekly or extended home time and earnings up to $1,700+ per week.

The role covers high-mileage routes across the Northeast and Eastern US, primarily dry vans, with flexible scheduling and optional weekend work to maximize miles.

Open to entry-level trainees and experienced drivers; pre-employment toxicology screenings are required. Competitive benefits include PTO and 401(k).

Stack your checks with $75 plus mileage for short hauls, $15 stop pay (for all stops except first and last), and extra cash from performance bonus plans.
  
• ROUTE & FREIGHT DETAILS: Run high-volume, steady lanes operating across the Northeast and Eastern US (all east of the Mississippi) with tons of freight options to keep your wheels turning. Pull standard dry vans handling a convenient mix of live loads, live unloads, preloads, and drop-and-hooks. Hiring drivers across Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan living within 180 miles of Gary, IN (Zip 46406).
  
• SCHEDULE & HOME TIME: Take complete control of your schedule with flexible home time choices—get back home every single week for a reset or stay out for multiple weeks at a time to max out your miles. Day and night shifts available with voluntary weekend work and holiday service when you want to earn extra.
