Job summary

PINE HALL BRICK COMPANY INC is seeking a Dehack Operator to support the unloading crew. The role requires operating equipment efficiently, maintaining production rates with minimal downtime, and communicating with supervision about production, quality and safety.

You will learn other jobs as needed, use hand tools for minor repairs, understand transfer cars and haulage systems, and follow safety procedures including LO/TO and PPE. Shift starts early and may require weekend work.

Qualifications

• Must possess basic knowledge of transfer cars and haulage systems.
• Ability to understand computers as they relate to unloading process.
• Ability to use hand tools to perform minor repairs and machine changeovers.
• Willingness to learn other jobs and fill in when needed.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with unloading crew and supervision about production, quality and safety issues.
• Operate equipment efficiently to meet desired rates with minimal downtime.
• Obtain strong knowledge of the unloading operation.
• Perform weekly TPM and 5S as outlined by management.
