Performance Food Group (New) in Richmond, VA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to move product from trailers to dock staging, operate a forklift or pallet jack, and support receiving processes while following safety regulations.
You will work Monday–Friday with early morning hours; candidates should have 6 months to 1 year warehouse experience, be able to lift 10–35 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs, and pass post‑offer drug tests.
Performance Foodservice, PFG's broadline distributor, maintains a unique relationship with a variety of local customers, including independent restaurants and hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and quick-service eateries. A team of sales reps, chefs, consultants, and other experts builds close relationships with customers - providing advice on improving operations, menu development, product selection, and operational strategies. Responsible for moving product with a forklift or pallet jack from trailer to another area of the warehouse dock during receiving process. Observing all safety regulations and ensuring all quality standards are met while maintaining the efficient flow of product through the production process. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duties assigned to best serve the company.
