Job summary

Quality Labor Management (QLM) is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician for our Norman, OK project focused on new construction and underground electrical work. You will install electrical systems from blueprints and specs while upholding safety and schedule.

The role offers a competitive pay range and benefits, with a Monday–Friday schedule and flexible 5/8s or 5/10s depending on the project. Medical, dental, vision, 401k, and safety bonus programs are included.

Qualifications

• Journeyman electrician with experience in new construction and underground work.
• Ability to read electrical blueprints and project specs.

Responsibilities

• Perform underground electrical work, rough-ins, and device installations according to project plans and specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and submittals to ensure accurate installations.
• Coordinate with GCs, subcontractors, and other trades to maintain project progress.
• Monitor work quality and ensure installations meet project requirements and safety standards.
• Meet or exceed established project schedules and deadlines.
• Mentor, assist, and train electrical apprentices as needed.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.

Pay Range

$34-40 per hour

Responsibilities

• Perform underground electrical work, rough-ins, and device installations according to project plans and specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and submittals to ensure accurate installations.
• Coordinate with general contractors (GCs), subcontractors, and other trades to maintain project progress.
• Monitor work quality and ensure installations meet project requirements and safety standards.
• Meet or exceed established project schedules and deadlines.
• Mentor, assist, and train electrical apprentices as needed.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.

Pay Rate: $34–$40 per hour

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, working either 5/8s (40 hours per week) or 5/10s (50 hours per week), depending on the project schedule.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Journeyman-level electrical experience, preferably in new construction and underground work.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and project specifications.
• Strong quality control, project coordination, and time management skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration with GCs, contractors, and other trades.
