Job summary

Dental Kidds Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics in Minnesota is seeking an unlicensed dental assistant for our Coon Rapids and Blaine clinics. The role involves chairside assistance, patient history entry, and sterilization tasks in a fast-paced, child-focused environment.

Qualified candidates are currently enrolled in a dental assisting program or nearing graduation, with solid computer and communication skills and experience with children.

Responsibilities

• Chairside assist
• Obtain, update, review, and enter patient medical histories in the electronic health record
• Prepare patients for visit, arrange instruments, and prepare dental materials for treatment/procedure
• Perform four-handed dentistry
• Prepare and clean operatories
• Sterilize instruments
• Communicate effectively with patients and other members of the healthcare team
• Demonstrate ability to provide care or service by adjusting approaches to reflect the developmental level of the population being served
• Other duties as assigned
