UNIX Senior Systems Administrator - Remote - Must Reside Within 3 Hours of Richmond, VA (1487175)

Join us as a UNIX Senior Systems Administrator at ESM. This full-time role requires demonstrating specific capabilities and meeting Minimum Qualifications, Clearance, and Certification requirements. Responsibilities include:

1. Administer UNIX and Linux NIPRnet and SIPRnet Operating Systems for effective daily operations and issue resolution.
2. Assess, implement, integrate, configure, and support system policies, event analysis, training, and documentation as a subject matter expert for the Government.
3. Implement software to meet IA controls, collaborating with DLA CERT and supporting the Technology Foundation Services architecture throughout the lifecycle.
4. Support Disaster Recovery and COOP for mission-critical systems.
5. Install and maintain COTS products such as McAfee, HBSS, TripWire, ArcSight, among others.
6. Provide remote systems management and troubleshooting for UNIX SIPRnet/NIPRnet systems.
7. Review, coordinate, and recommend IA standards and protocols, perform analysis, and validate security requirements including RMF.
8. Develop and document standards and guides for IA solutions, including compliance, security design, testing, and assessments.
9. Identify and recommend mitigation for vulnerabilities that could affect accreditation, including controls related to procedures, configurations, and system changes.
10. Perform customer support functions.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA):

1. Seven (7) years of UNIX Administration experience, with at least two in specialized information processing disciplines involving various hardware/software solutions.
2. Three (3) years of hands-on experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting software.
3. Secret Level Security Clearance.
