We are seeking an Application Support professional with Unix and database knowledge, plus exposure to programming languages such as Java, C++ or scripting, to manage incidents and communicate with users and stakeholders. The candidate will identify recurring failures, perform debugging or deep dives, assess impact, and drive resolutions with L3 while following the established

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required; progressive experience may substitute for education.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.

Responsibilities

• Handle incidents and communicate with users and stakeholders.
• Identify recurring failures and perform debugging or deep dives.
• Assess impact and manage escalation for incidents.
• Escalate bugs to L3 with lines of code for fixes.
• Identify migration issues and coordinate fixes.
• Drive resolutions with L3 to minimize failures.
• Adhere to L3 escalation process.

Job Description:-

• Application Support experience with working knowledge on Unix, database, and basic
• knowledge on any programming Language like JAVA/C++/scripting language etc.
• Good communication with analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to handle/manage incidents and effectively communicate with users, application
• owner and senior stake holders across all areas
• Identify recurring failures, Debug or Deep Dive in to the cause of the Issue, Identify
• Impact, Manage Escalation or Incident
• If there is a Bug in existing code (Providing Line of Code that cause the failure), escalated
• to L3 for a Fix
• Or Identify if it is a Migration Issue and Coordinate the Fix
• Drive Issues to resolution with L3 and reduce/eliminate the # of Failures
• Follow the L3 escalation process

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications :-

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience within the Information Technologies.
