Job Description

APTR has an immediate need for a Unix Application Support engineer with IBM Websphere, BPM, DataPower, and MQ experience. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience. This position is contract-to-hire and requires a candidate willing to work without sponsorship.

The resource could be at Allen, TX, or Fort Wayne, IN.

Summary: UNIX/Linux application support of various IBM Websphere products, mostly Process Server version 6 and DataPower.

Provide support on a 24/7 on‑call rotation, troubleshooting tickets, installation, and configuration.

Required Skills:

• Experience troubleshooting, deploying, and supporting IBM WebSphere Process Server Version 6.0 (WPS)
• Experience with Linux
• CLI control over WPS 6 environments, log diving
• Experience with IBM WebSphere DataPower

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant field required.
• 7 years of experience required.
