Job summary

Salisbury University is seeking a Bus Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for shuttle operations, athletic travel, and campus events. You will operate university buses in accordance with safety regulations and deliver excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff and visitors.

Responsibilities include daily vehicle inspections, maintaining schedules, and reporting maintenance needs. A valid CDL with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements and a high school diploma are required,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid CDL with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical/drug screen.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist passengers.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate university buses and other assigned vehicles.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain assigned schedules and driving records.
• Provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, staff and visitors.
• Report maintenance and safety concerns promptly.
