Job summary

SP+ is seeking shuttle bus operators in Baltimore to ensure safe, reliable transportation for passengers. You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness, assist disabled customers, and drive shuttle buses with a strong emphasis on punctuality and safety.

Applicants must hold a valid state driver’s license, a clean DMV record, and be able to work various shifts including weekends. Excellent customer service and ability to follow instructions are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Less than High School or 1 month related experience or equivalent combination.
• License: Valid state driver’s license with DMV record.
• Availability: Special shift requirements may apply, including 3rd shift or weekends.
• Language: Able to read/write simple instructions and present information to customers.
• Mathematical: Able to perform basic money calculations.
• Appearance: Neat, clean, in uniform.
• Physical: Able to stand/walk, lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of bus interiors.
• Log trip counts and assist disabled passengers.
• Be punctual, in uniform, and ready to work daily.
• Drive shuttles safely and know area streets/landmarks.
• Assist customers and direct them as needed; report incidents.

Education

Less than High School education or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
