Job description

Reporting to the Head, Acquisitions & Continuing Resources, the Electronic Resources Librarian works as a member of a collaborative team where innovative thinking and creative problem solving are highly valued. This position co-leads the Electronic Resources team within ACR, responsible for managing the lifecycle of the Libraries’ electronic resources, including renewing, licensing, preserving, activating, and troubleshooting electronic resources. The librarian will supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate 2 FTE staff.

The role involves managing workflows, best practices, and renewals of electronic and subscription resources, exploring new trends in electronic resources, and participating in licensing and negotiations.

Requirements include a thorough understanding of licensing, acquiring, evaluating, and supporting ongoing access to electronic resources.

Salary/Payrate:

The minimum starting salary is $63,000.
