We are seeking highly energetic Psychiatry Adjunct Clinical Instructors for an Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program in The Woodlands area. As an Adjunct Clinical Instructor, the primary responsibility is the clinical education of students in the University of St. Thomas ABSN program. Clinical Instructors are assigned teaching responsibilities in a clinical area and are expected to contribute to students' education, including skills, standards of practice, and critical thinking. Adjunct Instructors are accountable to the Director, Nursing Services of the ABSN program. Help support the next generation of nurses in your community!

What You Will Have:

• Preferred: Minimum two years of teaching experience, Education and Certifications
• Required: Minimum of two years of successful clinical nursing practice, Master's degree in nursing, Current unencumbered RN license in Texas or other compact state, Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a clinical setting if required

What You Will Do:

• Facilitate effective student learning in the assigned clinical setting
• Provide guidance for students related to professionalism, practice, and research
• Select and organize learning activities to help students attain course objectives
• Ensure effective evaluations of student practice
• Promote evidence-based practice
• Provide feedback on student progress to supervisory personnel
• Collaborate with faculty, administration, healthcare partners, and staff
• Attend all required orientation, training, and faculty meetings
