The Department of Mathematics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign invites applications for full-time tenure-track faculty positions at all levels (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor)
in any area of mathematics. We particularly encourage applications from candidates with expertise in Algebraic Geometry, Graph Theory, Logic, Number Theory, and Probability. Successful candidates are expected to teach effectively at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, initiate and carry out independent research, and provide service to the department, the university, and the profession. Applicants are required to have (or expected to receive) a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Mathematics or a related field. The target start date is August 16, 2024.
