Job summary

Bechtel Corporation invites ambitious graduates to join its University Hire Program, a full-time role across Bechtel's Global Business Units and functional groups. You will participate in design, development, modification, and evaluation of civil/structural components, gaining hands-on experience on diverse projects.

You will assist with drawings, schedules, models, calculations, and proposals, contributing to project-ready designs while learning Bechtel's culture, values, and operations.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited college or university within the past twelve months or upcoming twelve months.
• Eligibility for the University Hire Program (typically hired within 12 months of graduation).
• Ability and willingness to relocate and/or travel to domestic and/or international project jobsites.
• Eligibility to work in the US without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify, and evaluate civil/structural components and processes.
• Assist with preparation of construction drawings, project schedules, models, calculations, material requisitions, studies, reports, and proposals.
• Contribute to civil/structural designs that meet project requirements.
• Conduct duties across Civil Team (permitting, site layout, railway/roadway design, earthworks) and Structural Team (reinforced concrete/steel design, finite-element analysis, foundations).
