Job summary

Bechtel Corporation is seeking graduates for its University Hire program to contribute to the design, development, and evaluation of control systems components and processes. You will collaborate with other engineering disciplines to apply standard control techniques and support project goals.

Qualifications

BS in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering completed within the past 12 months or upcoming 12 months.
Eligible for the University Hire Program within 12 months of graduation.
Ability and willingness to relocate and/or travel to domestic and/or international project jobsites.
Eligibility to work in the US without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

Develop automation networks and provide technical specifications for distributed digital control systems and PLCs.
Formulate and implement diverse process control strategies and program algorithms.
Provide expertise in the selection, application, and installation of process instrumentation and control valves.
Originate and program logic diagrams to control mechanical systems and develop system graphics to facilitate plant operations.
