Job summary

The University of Miami’s Counseling Center seeks a licensed therapist to manage a full clinical caseload, provide individual and group psychotherapy, and participate in crisis intervention. Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, you will collaborate with colleagues to assess and plan treatment while adhering to ethical standards and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Licensed therapist with clinical experience.
• Provide short-term individual and group psychotherapy.
• Must be available for crisis intervention and emergencies.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full clinical caseload including assessment and psychotherapy.
• Respond to crisis situations during regular hours and on a rotational basis with cell phone coverage.
• Participate in triage and crisis services as designated by Clinical Services leadership.
• Maintain accurate records and reports following center procedures and legal/ethical standards.
• Lead outreach, education programs and supervise interns in APA-accredited internship programs.
