Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have a valid Texas CDL Class A or B license with passenger and air brake endorsements.
• Minimum of 1 year experience operating large passenger buses (40 foot or greater).
• As a CDL driver, comply with DOT Regulation 49 CFR Parts 40 and 382, including random drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Drive university-owned buses and vehicles to transport employees, students, and visitors.
• Perform routine vehicle inspection and basic maintenance checks.
• Maintain records and report accidents or incidents.
• Work days, nights, weekends, and overnight shifts as needed.
• Provide information and assistance to the university community and visitors.
