Job summary

Academy of Art University in San Francisco seeks a University Ambassador, Campus Tours for a full-time position. You will lead engaging tours and represent the university to prospective students and families with professionalism and enthusiasm.

You will deliver welcoming, accurate information about Academy offerings, coordinate schedules, and collaborate with campus departments to support events and visitor experiences. Strong public speaking and customer service are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging and informative tours of university facilities that inspire prospective students and families and support a positive visitor experience.
• Provide professional, welcoming, and responsive customer service to prospective students, families, guests, and University staff including accurate and up-to-date information regarding Academy offerings.
• Encourage prospective students and families to utilize Visitor Center resources, including post tour surveys.
• Perform administrative duties to include but not limited to, communication via phone and email, schedule tours, support with creating tour schedules and extend invitations for upcoming events.
• Assist with coordinating special events and school activities.
• Collaborate effectively with Campus Tours staff and University departments to support tour, event, and visitor needs.
• Adapt to changing tour schedules, visitor needs, and departmental priorities.
• Execute all responsibilities in a manner compliant with accreditation requirements as well as state and/or federal laws/regulations.
• Report compliance-related issues or concerns to the Academy’s Executive Vice President, Financial Aid & Compliance and Chief Student Affairs.

Tuesday to Saturday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Compensation

$25.00 to $27.00 per hour
