Job summary

IBC Bank in Texas is seeking a Universal Teller I to join the 705 Teller Operations team. This part-time, in-office role focuses on delivering the IBC Experience through prompt, friendly service while handling teller transactions.

You will balance cash drawers, promote bank products, and support branch operations. The ideal candidate has high school education, cash handling experience, and strong math and communication skills; bilingual ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• 1 to 6 months cash handling preferred.
• 1+ years of experience interacting with people preferred.
• Bilingual abilities preferred for border markets.

Responsibilities

• Process paying and receiving teller transactions.
• Deliver the IBC Experience by providing prompt, efficient and friendly customer service.
• Balance and maintain assigned cash box and vault; perform end of day process.
• Meet customer financial needs by promoting bank products and services.
• Participate in Sales Performance Goals and Referral Programs.
• Assist with branch procedures under dual control requirements including opening/closing.

Job Summary:

The Universal Teller I position is responsible for conducting and processing various types of customer bank transactions while delivering the "IBC Experience". This includes providing prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service to customers while adhering to bank teller policy and procedure guidelines. This position also requires tellers to maintain a balanced cash drawer and become skilled in the ability to build customer relationship to identify products and services to meet the customer’s banking needs.

• Process paying and receiving teller transactions

• Perform successfully to the Sales Performance Goals and Referral Programs
