Job summary

Florida Credit Union in Ocala is seeking a Universal Teller to provide exemplary member service and handle cash transactions with accuracy and professionalism.

You will assist members with inquiries, guide product choices, and collaborate with other teams to meet financial needs while maintaining compliance and operational standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 1-3 years of related experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Equivalent mix of education and hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Cashes checks and dispenses money after verification of identification, signature, and account balance.
• Answers inquiries via telephone, online, mail, chats and other electronic channels.
• Balances currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift to computer printout of daily transactions.
• Cross-sells FCU products to members (checking accounts, loans, etc.).
• Conducts loan interviews and obtains previous credit history and other pertinent data.
• Processes membership and checking applications, certificates, IRA’s, payroll, direct deposit, etc.
• Adheres to OFAC and Bank Secrecy Act requirements to maintain compliance.

The Universal Teller will assist current and potential members with inquiries about our products and services and make appropriate recommendations. Universal Tellers work with other departments to find solutions to help members’ financial needs.
