Job summary

Anticimex is seeking a Universal Technician to perform pest control services across residential and commercial accounts on a daily route. You will handle a variety of service calls, identify pest problems, and implement solutions while maintaining a professional, customer-focused approach.

The role requires a valid 18+ age, High School diploma or GED, and the ability to work independently. Training is provided; some Saturdays may be required and local daily travel is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform all residential and commercial pest control services on a daily route.

• Complete applications of fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides as scheduled.
• Operate and maintain company vehicle in a safe and respectful manner.
• Conduct service calls and report on conditions to improve ongoing pest control.

Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Universal Technician position is to perform all services included but not limited to recurring services, initial services, servicecallsand any other service-related tickets for all departments of service. This includes all residential and commercial services. The day-to-day services will vary and can change throughout the day as needed.

Duties may include:

• Be flexible inday to dayoperations. Not limited to one service department within the branch daily

• Provide customers with respectful, professional, and friendlyassistancewith their pest control needs.

• Identifypest problems andidentifysolutions to those problems

• Providetimelyand effective pest detection,eliminationand prevention solutions on a preset daily route

• Complete the application of fertilizers, pesticides,herbicidesand fungicides on a preset daily route

• Computing basic math problems

• The use of a variety of hand tools

• Evaluate andidentifyconducive conditions and provide detailed reports

• Establish effective working relationships with a variety of customers, both internal and external

• Use of handheld computerized equipment to manage service calls and documents

• Provide customers with general information about ourvarious services

• Conduct service calls as needed

• Problem solving and/or complaint resolution

• Performs other duties as assigned

• Perform services inside attics and crawl spaces as needed

• Operate andmaintaincompanyvehiclein a safe and respectful manner.

• Take an individual interest in the overall success, well-being, and improvement of Turner Pest Control.

Ideal candidates will:

• Enjoy working outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Not have a fear of bugs, snakes, rodents, etc.

• Be able to withstandlong periodsof squatting,standingand walking; including the ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl

• Be able to carry a 50lb pack on their back

• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which includes an OSHA compliant respirator in some cases.

• Safe use of portable ladders within the manufacturer’s specifications and OSHA regulations

• Have excellent listening and communication skills

• Be competent with the use ofnew technology

• Be organized and able to manage their own daily route

Qualifications and Education Requirements
