Job summary

Trouw Nutrition in Highland, IL is seeking a Universal Production Worker to support operations at our Companion Animal site. You will discharge, load, transport and label materials, operate machinery, and help maintain production standards in a fast-paced setting.

This role offers a first shift schedule with potential Fridays overtime, $19.75 per hour plus $1.50 per hour shift premium for second shift as applicable, and a solid benefits package through Nutreco.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and manufacturing experience required.
• Able to operate machinery and perform maintenance tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Prior forklift experience is an asset and safety standards must be followed.

Responsibilities

• Discharge, load, transport and label materials as part of daily tasks.
• Operate specialized production equipment and machinery.
• Perform routine maintenance on production equipment.
• Log production data accurately in the systems.
• Signal deviations and maintain a clean, safe work area per guidelines.
