Job summary

Nutreco's Companion Animal location in Highland, IL is hiring a Universal Production Worker on the 2nd shift (Mon-Thurs 4 pm–2 am) to support loading, discharging, transporting and labeling materials and operate production equipment in a safe, compliant environment. You will log production data, perform routine maintenance tasks, and report deviations.

A high school diploma and manufacturing experience are preferred; a valid driver’s license and forklift experience are assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Background in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Commitment to safety, quality and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Discharge, load, transport, and label materials.
• Operate specialized machinery.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on production equipment.
• Log production data into systems accurately.
• Identify process deviations and escalate accordingly.
