Job summary

Bright Horizons in New York is seeking a Universal Pre-K Field Teacher to support classrooms across multiple centers, creating safe, nurturing environments where 4- and 5-year-olds grow and learn toward kindergarten.

Demonstrates developmentally appropriate practice, maintains open communication with families, and adheres to safety procedures. Requires NYS Teaching Certification eligibility and relevant education, with prior preschool experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
  • 90 credits toward bachelor’s degree in early childhood education is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in early education or related field is required.
  • NYS Teaching Certification (B-2, N-6, 1-6, Special Education) or study plan eligibility is preferred.
  • 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred.
