The Universal Banker will work directly with our customers to meet their needs and support all products and services in our retail and commercial lines of business while projecting a professional and welcoming image, maintaining operational control, and delivering excellent service to customers.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate, high-quality customer service in all financial transactions, including cashing checks, accepting deposits, selling monetary instruments, and maintaining account records.
• Balance daily transactions, verify cash totals, monitor account transactions for suspicious activity, and assist in balancing.
• Deliver customer service and problem-solving support in all teller operations.
• Sell a full range of retail deposit products and banking services to customers and prospects.
• Maintain a portfolio of existing customers for cross-selling bank services.
• Follow all bank policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.

Preferred Education, Experience, Technical Knowledge, and Skills:

• High School diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Bank experience preferred.
• At least six months to one year of cash handling experience.
